Environmental education in teacher training: conceptions and integration

Resumo: Introduction: At present, environmental education is a process that is strictly linked to practice, with the purpose of harmonizing the productive activities of human beings, which is why it is essential to have professionals capable of mitigating environmental destruction, starting with training university, whose future professionals can be multipliers of the information needed to preserve the planet. Objective: This study aims to describe how environmental education has been understood and how it can be integrated into contemporary teacher education. Methodology: a literature review of the narrative type was used, with articles from periodicals and books by specific authors in the area of ​​environmental education, teacher training and teacher training in environmental education based on complex thinking. Results and discussion: It is concluded, therefore, that the development of this narrative review research allowed a broad view of the conception and meanings of environmental education, as well as the importance of pedagogical practice with emphasis on adequate didactics for integration of the environmental theme in formal education.

Objetivo: Este estudio tiene como objetivo describir cómo se ha entendido la educación ambiental y cómo esta temática se puede integrar en la formación docente contemporánea. Metodología: se utilizó una revisión bibliográfica de tipo narrativa, con artículos de revistas y libros de autores específicos en el área de educación ambiental, formación docente y formación docente en educación ambiental basada en el pensamiento complejo. Resultados y discusión: Se concluye, por lo tanto, que el desarrollo de esta investigación de revisión narrativa permitió una visión amplia de la concepción y significados de la educación ambiental, así como la importancia de la práctica pedagógica con énfasis en didácticas adecuadas para la integración del tema ambiental en la educación formal.Introdução: Na atualidade, a educação ambiental é um processo que está estritamente vinculado com a práxis, com a finalidade de harmonizar as atividades produtivas próprias dos seres humanos, por isso torna-se indispensável contar com profissionais aptos para mitigar a destruição ambiental, começando pela formação universitária, cujos futuros profissionais possam ser multiplicadores da informação necessária para preservar o planeta. Objetivo: O presente estudo tem como objetivo descrever como a educação ambiental tem sido compreendida e como pode ser integrada na contemporaneidade na formação dos professores. Metodologia: se utilizou uma revisão de bibliografia do tipo narrativa, com artigos de periódicos e livros de autores específicos da área de educação ambiental, formação de professores e formação de professores em educação ambiental a partir do pensamento complexo.
