Resumo: Objective to know the influence of autodidactics in the educational system in Brazil. This is a qualitative, integrative literature review study. The analysis of the information resulted in two categories: Autodidaxia or Autodidact; Autodidaxia and digital technology in education. In ancient times the autodidact was a curious person, possessing minimal grammar and no diploma, who assumed self-learning and immersion in knowledge. All people, including the autodidact, need help and guidance from someone and materials to study. Self-learning is an immediate study solution, provided by access to various digital technologies that offer published materials on the most diverse subjects and from all over the world. Brazil adopts Distance Education (DL) in technical, undergraduate, and graduate courses using information technology with teacher supervision. Currently, the legal adoption of self-learning in the formal system of elementary and high school is being discussed.

Se trata de un estudio cualitativo e integrador de la literatura. El análisis de la información dio como resultado dos categorías: Autodidaxia o autodidacta; Autodidaxia y tecnología digital en la educación. En la antigüedad, el autodidacta era una persona curiosa, poseedora de una gramática mínima y sin diploma, que asumía el autoaprendizaje y la inmersión en el conocimiento. Todos los hombres, incluso los autodidactas, necesitan la ayuda y la orientación de alguien y materiales para estudiar. El autoaprendizaje es una solución de estudio inmediata, proporcionada por el acceso a diversas tecnologías digitales que ofrecen materiales publicados sobre los temas más diversos y de todas las partes del mundo. Brasil adopta la Educación a Distancia (ED) en los cursos técnicos, de grado y de postgrado, utilizando las tecnologías de la información con la supervisión de los profesores. En la actualidad, se está debatiendo la adopción legal de la autodidaxia en el sistema formal de educación primaria y secundaria.Objetivo de conhecer a influência da autodidaxia no sistema educacional do Brasil. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, de revisão bibliográfica integrativa. A análise das informações resultou em duas categorias: Autodidaxia ou autodidata; Autodidaxia e tecnologia digital na educação. Na antiguidade o autodidata foi um curioso, possuidor de uma gramática mínima e sem diploma, que assumiu auto aprender e mergulhar no conhecimento. Todos os homens, inclusive os autodidatas, necessitam da ajuda e orientação de alguém e de materiais para estudar. A autodidaxia é uma solução imediata de estudo, oportunizada no acesso as várias tecnologias digitais que oferecem materiais publicados nos mais diversos assuntos e de todas as partes do mundo. O Brasil adota a Educação a Distância (EAD) em cursos técnicos, graduação e pós-graduação com o uso de tecnologias da informação com supervisão de professores.
