The pedagogical practices of science and mathematics teachers with students with specific educational needs: a case study

Resumo: | Inclusive education is in the legislation and official documents that regulate Brazilian education, it is important to investigate how it happens in schools in different areas of knowledge and in this study we will investigate this aspect in Science and Mathematics Teaching. The target audience of the research was seven teachers from these areas of a State College of Full-time (CEPI), located in Itumbiara-GO. We aim to know how these teachers have worked and conceived when working with students with specific educational needs (SEN) in the last years of elementary school. The bibliographic research, reading and analysis of legislation pertinent to the theme and application of a questionnaire comprised data collection and the analysis was carried out according to Bardin's content analysisThe results of this study suggest a specific formation could promote a Science and Mathematics teaching more inclusive and it could help gradually overcoming the difficulties in preparing materials for students with sen, it will be good for teacher know how to evaluate these students and how to identify their needs, potential and learning limits Finally, we consider that, despite having the legislation that claims to guarantee the rights of people sen, this is not enough to become a reality, because in addition to the lack of resources, we have problems in the initial training of teachers. Many universities still is not enough prepared to teach of the professional that needs to work in inclusive education. Thus, we understand the need and the importance of continuing teacher education so that they can develope a diversified educational practice and that considere the potencial of students with sen. |

Por tal motivo, este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación cualitativa motivada por el desempeño de la investigadora en el área de educación inclusiva en la red del Estado de Goiás. El público objetivo de la investigación fueron siete profesores de las áreas de Ciencias y Matemáticas de una Facultad Estatal de Tiempo Completo. (CEPI), ubicada en Itumbiara-GO. Nuestro objetivo es conocer cómo los profesores han trabajado y concibido con estudiantes con necesidades educativas específicas (NEE) en los últimos años de la escuela primaria. La investigación bibliográfica, la lectura y análisis de la legislación relevante al tema y la aplicación de un cuestionario conformaron la recolección de datos y el análisis se realizó según la perspectiva de Bardin . Los resultados de este estudio denuncian la necesidad de una formación específica para trabajar con la educación inclusiva además de las múltiples dificultades en la elaboración de materiales para estudiantes con NEE, cómo evaluar a estos estudiantes y cómo identificar sus necesidades, potencialidades y límites de aprendizaje. Finalmente, consideramos que, si bien tenemos una legislación que dice garantizar los derechos de las personas con discapacidad, todavía no es suficiente que esto suceda en la realidad, porque además de la falta de recursos, tenemos problemas de formación inicial del profesorado, que no es suficiente. para la preparación del profesional para la promoción de una educación inclusiva. Así, entendemos la necesidad y la importancia de la formación continua del profesorado para que pueda desarrollar prácticas diversas para los alumnos con NEE.A educação inclusiva está prevista na legislação e nos documentos oficiais que regulamentam a educação brasileira, sendo importante investigar como ela acontece nas escolas nas diferentes áreas do conhecimento e nesse estudo investigaremos esse aspecto no Ensino de Ciências e Matemática. O público-alvo da pesquisa foram sete professores dessas áreas de um Colégio Estadual de tempo Integral (CEPI), localizado em Itumbiara-GO. Objetivamos conhecer como tem sido a atuação e a concepção desses professores ao trabalharem essas áreas com estudantes com necessidades educacionais específicas (NEE) nos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental. A pesquisa bibliográfica, a leitura e análise de legislações pertinentes ao tema e aplicação de questionário compuseram a coleta de dados e a análise foi realizada segundo a análise de conteúdos de Bardin. Os resultados deste estudo sugerem uma formação específica para atuação que possa promover um ensino de Ciências e Matemática mais inclusivo, superando aos poucos as dificuldades quanto ao preparo de materiais para estudantes com NEE, sobre como avaliar estes alunos e como identificar suas necessidades, potencialidades e limites de aprendizagem. Por fim, consideramos que, apesar de termos a legislação que diz garantir os direitos da pessoa com deficiência, isto não é suficiente para que se torne uma realidade, pois além da falta de recursos, temos problemas na formação inicial de professores, ainda insuficiente para a preparação do profissional que precisa atuar na educação inclusiva.
