Exercising citizenship on the school floor: learning to conserve school public heritage

Resumo: A lot is said about citizenship, but what actions are schools developing to clarify and demonstrate in practice to students how all this works? The theme chosen for this work constantly reflects the problem experienced in many Brazilian schools, where there is a lot of talk about citizenship, but often the actions developed within the school do not meet with the strengthening of the practice of being a citizen. The experience presented here was experienced in the Bilingual EETI Professor Djalma da Cunha Batista in 2017 with the objective of preparing the student for the exercise of citizenship, awakening in it through the actions developed, the awareness of ensuring the school´s public heritage, and thus contributing to the formation of a more just and balanced society, knowledgeable of their rights and duties. The methodology used in the work was qualitative, meeting the requirements of the research - participant action. The results obtained are considered favorable since it was possible to perceive some changes in the student´s habits within the school.

El tema elegido para este trabajo refleja constantemente los problemas vividos en muchas escuelas brasileñas, donde se habla mucho de ciudadanía, sin embargo, muchas veces las acciones desarrolladas dentro de la escuela no van en contra del fortalecimiento de la práctica de ser ciudadano. La experiencia que aquí se presenta fue vivida en la Escola Estadual de Tempo Integral Bilingüe Profesor Djalma da Cunha Batista en 2017 con el objetivo de preparar al estudiante para el ejercicio de la ciudadanía, despertando en él, a través de las acciones desarrolladas, la conciencia de cuidar al público. patrimonio escuela, y así contribuir a la formación de una sociedad más justa y equilibrada, y consciente de sus derechos y deberes. La metodología utilizada en el trabajo fue cualitativa, atendiendo a los requerimientos de la investigación – acción participativa. Los resultados obtenidos se consideran favorables una vez que se logró percibir algunos cambios en los hábitos de los estudiantes durante el ciclo escolar.Muito se fala sobre cidadania, mas quais são as ações que as escolas estão desenvolvendo para esclarecer e demonstrar na prática como é exercer a cidadania no ambiente escolar? O tema escolhido para este trabalho reflete constantemente a problemática vivida em muitas escolas brasileiras, onde se fala muito sobre cidadania, porém, muitas vezes as ações desenvolvidas dentro da escola não vão de encontro ao fortalecimento da prática de ser cidadão. A experiência aqui apresentada foi vivenciada na Escola Estadual de Tempo Integral Bilingue Professor Djalma da Cunha Batista no ano de 2017 com o objetivo de preparar o educando para o exercício da cidadania, despertando nele, através das ações desenvolvidas, a consciência de zelar o patrimônio público escolar, e assim contribuir na formação de uma sociedade mais justa e equilibrada, e conhecedora dos seus direitos e deveres. A metodologia utilizada no trabalho foi a qualitativa, atendendo os requisitos da pesquisa – ação participante.
