Resumo: | With the encouragement of research, such as that of Costa & Lima (2016) and the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), to incorporate history into the teaching of mathematics, one has the option of approaching Egyptian arithmetic as a way of (re) building some mathematical concepts in the classroom. The objective is to know the Egyptian arithmetic practice and to present proposals for activities on the multiplication and division operations in Egyptian mathematics. Thus, there is a qualitative methodology, of bibliographic and exploratory nature as to the objective. Thus, we contemplate a little of the context of ancient Egyptian civilization and its arithmetic processes used to solve various types of problems of the time. Therefore, it was found that this Egyptian arithmetic procedure can collaborate in the teaching of mathematics, so an activity session was elaborated on this subject to stimulate and propose an incorporation of the history of mathematics in teaching, as a resource provider, thus contributing to for student learning. |

El objetivo es conocer la práctica aritmética egipcia y presentar propuestas de actividades sobre las operaciones de multiplicación y división en las matemáticas egipcias. Así, existe una metodología cualitativa, de carácter bibliográfico y exploratorio en cuanto al objetivo. Así, contemplamos un poco el contexto de la antigua civilización egipcia y sus procesos aritméticos utilizados para resolver diversos tipos de problemas de la época. Por tanto, se encontró que este procedimiento aritmético egipcio puede colaborar en la enseñanza de las matemáticas, por lo que se elaboró una sesión de actividades sobre este tema para estimular y proponer una incorporación de la historia de las matemáticas en la enseñanza, como proveedor de recursos, contribuyendo así a para aprendizaje de los estudiantes.Com o incentivo de pesquisas, como a de Costa & Lima (2016) e da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), para incorporar a história ao ensino de matemática, tem-se como opção abordar a aritmética egípcia como forma de (re)construir alguns conceitos matemáticos em sala de aula. Objetiva-se, com esse texto, conhecer a prática aritmética egípcia e apresentar propostas de atividades sobre as operações de multiplicação e divisão. Desse modo, tem-se uma metodologia qualitativa, de cunho bibliográfico e exploratória quanto ao objetivo. Assim, contempla-se, por meio desse caminhar bibliográfico, um pouco do contexto da civilização egípcia antiga e os seus processos aritméticos utilizados para resolução de vários tipos de problemas da época.
