Graduate monitoring systems in Higher Education Institutions: an integrative review

Resumo: Higher Education Institutions (HEI) have as one of their functions to train professionals who are ready to work, and as a result, understood as the graduated student, we have the egress. The egresses are extremely important for the HEI, for they can provide valuable contributions, both as to the quality of the courses and to the formation of the current students. One alternative for the relationship between HEI and their graduates is the development and implementation of information systems and virtual portals. The objective of this article was to identify in the literature the use of information systems in the Follow-up of Graduates in HEIs, based on an integrative review. To this end, the studies were systematized in order to identify the research objectives, the theoretical approaches, the research objects, the location and the research results. The results point to the importance of information systems in the follow-up of egresses, the perceived challenges, the strategies that HEI have in the follow-up of egresses and the importance of feedback from egresses about the training received. Finally, the results demonstrate that the implementation/maintenance of an information system/portal is fundamental to follow the relationship with its egresses.

Los egresados son muy importantes para las IES, ya que pueden aportar valiosas contribuciones, tanto en lo que respecta a la calidad de los cursos como a la formación de los estudiantes actuales. Una alternativa para la relación entre las IES y sus egresados es el desarrollo e implementación de sistemas de información y portales virtuales. Este artículo tuvo como objetivo identificar en la literatura el uso de los sistemas de información en el Seguimiento de Egresados en las IES a partir de una revisión integradora. Para ello, se sistematizaron los estudios con el fin de identificar los objetivos de la investigación, los enfoques teóricos, los objetos de investigación, el lugar y los resultados de la investigación. Los resultados señalan la importancia de los sistemas de información en el seguimiento de los egresados, los retos percibidos, las estrategias que tienen las IES en el seguimiento de los egresados y la importancia de la retroalimentación de los egresados sobre la formación recibida. Y por último, los resultados demuestran que la implantación/manejo de un sistema de información/portal es fundamental para acompañar la relación con su salida.Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) têm como uma de suas funções formar estudantes aptos para o exercício profissional, e como resultado, entendido como o estudante formado, tem-se o egresso. Os egressos são de extrema importância para as IES, pois podem proporcionar importantes contribuições, tanto para a qualidade dos cursos, quanto para a formação dos atuais estudantes. Uma alternativa para o relacionamento entre as IES e seus egressos é o desenvolvimento e a implantação de sistemas de informação ou portais virtuais. Este artigo teve como objetivo identificar na literatura o uso de sistemas de informação no acompanhamento de egressos nas IES a partir de uma revisão integrativa. Para tanto, os estudos foram sistematizados de forma a identificar os objetivos da pesquisa, as abordagens teóricas, os objetos de pesquisa, os locais e os resultados da pesquisa. Os resultados apontam para a importância dos sistemas de informação no acompanhamento de egressos, os desafios percebidos, as estratégias que as IES têm no acompanhamento dos egressos e a importância do feedback dos egressos sobre a formação recebida.
