The importance of Physical Education in integrated secondary education: teaching conception in the IFCE Campus Canindé

Resumo: The present article aims to analyze the teaching conceptions regarding the importance that they attribute to the discipline of Physical Education for the integrated high school students of the IFCE, Campus Canindé. The research consists of a cut of the master's thesis developed in the Post-graduation Program in Professional and Technological Education (PROFEPT). It is characterized as qualitative and exploratory research. Semistructured interviews were carried out with three teachers who work in the secondary school integrated in this institution. The results show that the teachers consider Physical Education important in the overall development of the student, through the perception and corporal consciousness, as well as the relation that establishes itself in society, when positioning before the mediatic influences presented on the corporal standard not always compatible with healthy life. It was also pointed out that the contributions of the discipline serve the students in promoting an active and healthy lifestyle, and there is also the possibility of future professional action related to the area of Physical Education. Faced with this, it is considered important to strengthen the pedagogical view of the teacher in order to reflect working conditions and the ways in which the body, corporal practices and sport are used as instruments for the effectiveness of power relations and exploitation , it should be noted that integrated secondary education has as its premise the critical formation of the subject before social structures.

La investigación consiste en un recorte de la tesis de maestría desarrollada en el Programa de Postgrado en Educación Profesional y Tecnológica (PROFEPT). Se caracteriza por su investigación cualitativa y exploratoria. Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas con tres docentes que trabajan en la escuela secundaria integrada en esta institución. Los resultados muestran que los docentes consideran que la Educación Física es importante en el desarrollo general del estudiante, a través de la percepción y la conciencia corporal, así como la relación que se establece en la sociedad, al posicionarse ante las influencias mediáticas presentadas en el estándar corporal no siempre compatible con vida sana. También se señaló que las contribuciones de la disciplina sirven a los estudiantes para promover un estilo de vida activo y saludable, y también existe la posibilidad de acciones profesionales futuras relacionadas con el área de Educación Física. Ante esto, se considera importante fortalecer la visión pedagógica del docente para reflejar las condiciones de trabajo y las formas en que el cuerpo, las prácticas corporales y el deporte se utilizan como instrumentos para la eficacia de las relaciones de poder y la explotación. , cabe señalar que la educación secundaria integrada tiene como premisa la formación crítica del sujeto ante las estructuras sociales.O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar as concepções docentes quanto à importância que atribuem à disciplina de Educação Física para os alunos do ensino médio integrado do IFCE, campus Canindé. A investigação se constitui a partir de um recorte da dissertação de mestrado desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (PROFEPT). Caracteriza-se como pesquisa qualitativa e exploratória. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com três docentes que atuam no ensino médio integrado na referida instituição. Os resultados mostram que os professores consideram a Educação Física importante no desenvolvimento global do aluno, através da percepção e consciência corporal, bem como da relação que se estabelece em sociedade, ao se posicionar perante as influências midiáticas apresentadas sobre o padrão corporal nem sempre condizentes com a vida saudável. Foram pontuadas ainda que as contribuições da disciplina atendem os alunos na promoção de um estilo de vida ativo e saudável, havendo ainda a possibilidade de atuação profissional futura relacionada a área da Educação Física.
