A review of historical investigations into light and the understanding of colors

Resumo: | In this work, knowing that the little importance of scientific dissemination can lead to the weakening of critical thinking in individuals in obtaining adequate knowledge. We present a methodology of three traditional classes with a logical sequence that can be applied to elementary and high school students and the lay population. For the best functioning of the class proposal, to contemplate the content of the study of light, we recommend that the classes be applied in conjunction with teachers of history, philosophy and biology. The present work was a historical research with a systematic sequence in which we describe the development of some centuries of studies on the nature of light. In the course of the work, we analyzed graphs on the electromagnetic spectrum, temperature of the stars, the composition of the Sun and the color of the Sun. Then, we start from the emission of light until it arrives on Earth, with light scattering in the atmosphere. It presents the functioning of the human eye to capture light, an explanation about the colors of objects and why we see, bringing the biological reasons involved. Finally, we leave it to the education professional to use the information presented throughout the text as a basis to help him share the theme of light and make an interdisciplinarity in the way that is convenient. |

Presentamos una metodología de tres clases tradicionales con una secuencia lógica que puede ser aplicada a estudiantes de primaria, secundaria y población laica. Para el mejor funcionamiento de la propuesta de clases, para contemplar el contenido del estudio de la luz, recomendamos que las clases se apliquen en conjunto con profesores de historia, filosofía y biología. El presente trabajo fue una investigación histórica con una secuencia sistemática en la que describimos el desarrollo de algunos siglos de estudios sobre la naturaleza de la luz. En el transcurso del trabajo, analizamos gráficos sobre el espectro electromagnético, la temperatura de las estrellas, la composición del Sol y el color del Sol. Luego, partimos de la emisión de la luz hasta que llega a la Tierra, con la luz dispersándose en la atmósfera. Presenta el funcionamiento del ojo humano para captar la luz, una explicación sobre los colores de los objetos y por qué vemos, trayendo las razones biológicas involucradas. Finalmente, dejamos al profesional de la educación utilizar la información presentada a lo largo del texto como base para ayudarlo a compartir el tema de la luz y hacer una interdisciplinariedad de la manera que sea convenienteNeste trabalho, sabendo que a pouca importância da divulgação científica, pode conduzir ao enfraquecimento do pensamento crítico nos indivíduos em obter um saber adequado. Apresentamos uma metodologia de três aulas tradicionais com uma sequência lógica que pode ser aplicada para estudantes de ensino fundamental, médio e a população leiga. Para o melhor funcionamento da proposta de aula, para contemplar o conteúdo do estudo da luz, aconselhamos que seja aplicada as aulas em união com professores de história, filosofia e biologia. O presente trabalho foi feito uma pesquisa histórica com uma sequência sistemática em que descrevemos o desenvolvimento de alguns séculos de estudos sobre a natureza da luz. No decorrer do trabalho, analisamos gráficos sobre o espectro eletromagnético, temperatura das estrelas, a composição do Sol e a cor do Sol. Em seguida, partimos da emissão da luz até chegar na Terra, ocorrendo dispersão da luz na atmosfera. É apresentado o funcionamento do olho humano para captação da luz, uma explicação sobre as cores dos objetos e o porquê enxergamos trazendo as razões biológicas envolvidas.
