Decoloniality in making science in a science club

Resumo: This text discusses decoloniality in a science club based on the analysis of the questionnaire applied to the monitors, was verified how they classify the science that is made in this place, the use of materials and the agreement on the use of these materials in experiments scientific research carried out in this educational place. The qualitative approach methodology aims to analyze the content obtained in the questionnaire with monitors and diagnose whether decoloniality is present in doing science through the Investigative Teaching Sequence - ITS. The text presents a discussion about the concepts of decoloniality in educational practices and in making science, doing science through investigative teaching in the science club. The results indicate that the scientific initiation activities carried out in the club differ from doing science, based on the Eurocentric model. And so, it is concluded that the study proved that there is decoloniality present in ITS in the science club.

La metodología del enfoque cualitativo tiene como objetivo analizar el contenido obtenido en el cuestionario con monitores y diagnosticar si la descolonialidad está presente en la ciencia a través de la secuencia de enseñanza investigativa - SEI. El texto presenta una discusión sobre los conceptos de descolonialidad en las prácticas educativas y en hacer ciencia, hacer ciencia a través de la enseñanza de investigación en el club de ciencias. Los resultados indican que las actividades de iniciación científica llevadas a cabo en el club difieren de las ciencias, según el modelo eurocéntrico. Y con eso, se concluye que el estudio demostró que hay una descolonialidad presente en SEI en el club de ciencias. Este texto discute a decolonialidade em um clube de ciências a partir da análise do questionário aplicado a professores monitores, onde verificou -se como eles classificam a ciência que é feita neste ambiente, o uso dos materiais e a concordância sobre o uso desses materiais nas experimentações científicas que são feitas neste espaço educacional. A metodologia de abordagem qualitativa, visa analisar o conteúdo obtido no questionário com monitores e diagnosticar se a decolonialidade está presente no fazer ciência através da Sequência de Ensino Investigativo - SEI. O texto apresenta uma discussão sobre os conceitos de decolonialidade nas práticas educacionais e na feitura da ciência, o fazer ciência através do ensino investigativo no clube de ciências. Os resultados indicam que as atividades de iniciação científica feitas no clube diferem do fazer ciência, baseado no modelo eurocêntrico.
