Strategic planning for a micro enterprise: case study in a supermarket in Rio Grande do Sul

Resumo: This study aimed to develop a strategic planning for a microenterprise of the food products trade of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The research was classified as the approach, as deductive, quantitative and qualitative; Regarding the procedures, the research is descriptive, exploratory and a case study; and used interview technique for data collection and Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet for data analysis. During the study the five stages of strategic planning were carried out, which include defining the business, mission, vision and principles, evaluating the internal and external environments, building the strategic posture, elaborating the strategic objectives and goals, and creating action plans to monitoring. The study concludes that Alpha Supermarket is in the strategic development posture, where it is possible to potentialize strengths and maximize opportunities.

La investigación se clasificó como el enfoque deductivo, cuantitativo y cualitativo; En cuanto a los procedimientos, la investigación es descriptiva, exploratoria y un estudio de caso; y utilizó la técnica de entrevista para la recopilación de datos y la hoja de cálculo de Microsoft Excel® para el análisis de datos. Durante el estudio se llevaron a cabo las cinco etapas de planificación estratégica, que incluyen la definición del negocio, la misión, la visión y los principios, la evaluación de los entornos internos y externos, la construcción de la postura estratégica, la elaboración de los objetivos y metas estratégicos y la creación de planes de acción para monitoreo El estudio concluye que Alpha Supermarket está en la postura de desarrollo estratégico, donde es posible maximizar las fortalezas y maximizar las oportunidades.O presente estudo teve o objetivo de desenvolver um planejamento estratégico para uma microempresa do comércio de produtos alimentícios do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. A pesquisa classificou-se quanto a abordagem, como dedutiva, quantitativa e qualitativa; quanto aos procedimentos, a pesquisa é descritiva, exploratória e um estudo de caso; e utilizou técnica de entrevista para a coleta de dados e planilha eletrônica do Microsoft Excel® para análise dos dados. Durante o estudo foram realizadas as cinco etapas do planejamento estratégico, que compreendem, definir o negócio, missão, visão e princípios, avaliar os ambientes interno e externo, construir a postura estratégica, elaborar os objetivos estratégicos e metas e, criar planos de ação para monitoramento.
