Human Rights Education: discourses, possibilities and curricular challenges

Resumo: In this article we discuss the importance of human rights for education. We emphasize the role of educational processes in the defense and guarantee of these rights. The methodology used is qualitative of the bibliographic type. We have reviewed some authors who have dedicated themselves to the study of the subject and point out the importance of strengthening studies about the role and place of human rights education in the curriculum of educational institutions, considering the possibilities and challenges for the implementation of a curriculum that is at the service of strengthening democracy and the emancipation of the popular class.

Destacamos o papel dos processos educacionais na defesa e garantia destes direitos. A metodologia empregada é qualitativa do tipo bibliográfica.
