Behind the screens: connecting experiences and technology, in the pandemic, about teaching Mathematics in the Elementary School

Resumo: This work aims to understand the place that knowledge, produced by experience, occupies in the teaching of Mathematics in the Elementary School, from the Covid-19 pandemic. It takes as a reference the approaches that deal with the pandemic impacts to teach Mathematics in this school stage, in the light of the knowledge of experience and the use of different technological resources. It is based on the theoretical-methodological approach of the narrative present in the dialogues with the participating teachers. The study showed, among other elements, that approaches such as debates, drawings, games and manipulation of manipulable objects were predominant for learning mathematics in a remote context. It also indicated that the appropriation of technological resources by the teachers, especially the digital ones, highlighting a process of digital literacy, occurred individually, as a form of self-training, with their experiences in the classroom predominating.

Toma como referencia los enfoques que abordan los impactos de la pandemia para la enseñanza de las Matemáticas en esta etapa escolar, a la luz de los saberes de la experiencia y el uso de diferentes recursos tecnológicos. Se fundamenta en el abordaje teórico-metodológico de la narrativa presente en los diálogos con las docentes participantes. El estudio mostró, entre otros elementos, que enfoques como debates, dibujos, juegos y manipulación de objetos manipulables eran predominantes para el aprendizaje de las matemáticas en un contexto remoto. También indicó que la apropiación de los recursos tecnológicos por parte de las docentes, en especial los digitales, señalando un proceso de alfabetización digital, se dio de manera individual, como una forma de autoformación, predominando sus experiencias en el aula.Este trabalho objetiva compreender o lugar que o conhecimento, produzido pela experiência, ocupa no ensino de Matemática nos Anos Iniciais, a partir da pandemia da Covid-19. Toma por referência as abordagens que tratam sobre os impactos pandêmicos para ensinar Matemática nessa etapa escolar, à luz dos saberes da experiência e do uso de diferentes recursos tecnológicos. Tem por base a abordagem teórico-metodológica da narrativa presente nas interlocuções com as professoras participantes. O estudo evidenciou, dentre outros elementos, que abordagens como debates, desenhos, brincadeiras e manipulação de objetos manipuláveis foram preponderantes para a aprendizagem matemática em contexto remoto.
