Resumo: | This study aims to analyse a process of online continuing education of teachers in the primary school on teaching and learning Statistics. During four meetings, we reflected on the importance of developing research involving the phases of the investigative cycle and its viability through teaching practices in the school environment, considering the different types of teacher knowledge. We carried out a survey with the teachers about the use of the internet for teaching Statistics and they carried out a survey with their students about pets and reported it to the group. The entire training process took place online, thus favouring the participation of teachers in different states of Brazil. The training process promoted reflections for the teaching of Statistics based on experiences with research, expanding what can and should be taught by teachers in the early years about Statistics. |

Durante cuatro encuentros reflexionamos sobre la importancia de desarrollar investigaciones que involucren las fases del ciclo investigativo y su viabilidad a través de las prácticas docentes en el ámbito escolar, considerando los diferentes tipos de saberes docentes. Realizamos una encuesta a docentes sobre el uso de internet para enseñar Estadística y ellos realizaron una encuesta a sus alumnos sobre mascotas y la reportaron al grupo. Todo el proceso de formación se desarrolló en línea, favoreciendo así la participación de docentes de diferentes estados de Brasil. El proceso de formación promovió reflexiones sobre la enseñanza de la Estadística a partir de experiencias con la investigación, ampliando lo que pueden y deben enseñar los docentes en los Años Iniciales de Estadística.Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar um processo de formação continuada online de professores dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental sobre o ensino e a aprendizagem de Estatística. Durante quatro encontros refletimos sobre a importância de se desenvolver pesquisas envolvendo as fases do ciclo investigativo e sua viabilidade por meio de práticas docentes no ambiente escolar, considerando os diferentes tipos de conhecimento do professor. Realizamos uma pesquisa junto com os professores sobre o uso da internet para o ensino de Estatística e eles realizaram com seus alunos uma pesquisa sobre pets e relataram para o grupo. Todo processo formativo ocorreu de maneira online favorecendo, dessa maneira, a participação de professores em diferentes estados do Brasil.
