Abordagem de temas no ensino de física: o corpo humano como temática contextualizadora

The discussion, in the context of science education, is significant about the need to contextualize the scientific concepts approached in the classroom, because one of the challenges today is the improvement of the Brazilian educational system. In this context, the approach of themes has been configured as a curricular and / or methodological alternative for the articulation between the scientific conceptualization and aspects arising from the student's reality. Considering this, it was intended to identify the relationships that high school students establish between the physical conceptualization, especially the concept of pressure, and the functioning of the human body; It is intended to investigate and discuss the potentialities and limits of the approach of contextual themes related to the human body in the teaching of physics. Methodologically, the research has a qualitative nature, being used as research instruments a questionnaire, report of experimental activity and systematizing questions. The analysis of the data obtained is based on studies that discuss about the approach of themes in science education. Among the results, it is noteworthy that although the students previously had difficulties to establish relationships between the physical conceptualization and the functioning of the human body, they demonstrated significant improvement in the experimental activity. They also consider the theme important and facilitating the understanding of physics concepts.
