Resumo: This work analyzes the admission of black quota students at the Federal University of Rondônia, Campus José Ribeiro Filho, in the period of 2013 and 2020, through the implementation of the Quota Law (Law nº 12.711/2012), in the selection processes. In view of the scope of the theme, the studies were limited to the Academic Center of Human Sciences, since it encompasses the largest number of undergraduate courses and most of the degrees, among them the Pedagogy course was chosen, in view of be the most popular in the unit and have the largest number of applicants due to the number of vacancies. As for the methodology, the approach is qualitative, with bibliographic and documentary procedures, exploratory and descriptive, which emphasized the analysis of data presented by the selection processes of the period. In the end, we consider that the quota policy is an important measure for the inclusion of black women in Higher Education.

En vista del alcance de la materia, se delimitaron los estudios al Centro Académico de Ciencias Humanas, ya que abarca el mayor número de cursos de pregrado y la mayoría de las licenciaturas, y, entre ellos se eligió el curso de Pedagogía, teniendo en cuenta ser la más competitiva y tener el mayor número de postulantes debido a la disponibilidad de cupos. En cuanto a la metodología, el abordaje es cualitativo, con procedimientos bibliográficos y documentales, exploratorios y descriptivos, que enfatizaron el análisis de datos encontrados en los procesos de selectividad del período. Al final, consideramos que la política de cuotas es una medida importante para la inclusión de mujeres negras en la Educación Superior.Este trabalho analisa o ingresso de alunas cotistas negras na Universidade Federal de Rondônia, Campus José Ribeiro Filho, no período de 2013 e 2020, através da implantação da Lei de Cotas (Lei nº 12.711/2012), nos processos seletivos. Tendo em vista a abrangência do tema, delimitaram-se os estudos ao Núcleo Acadêmico de Ciências Humanas, uma vez que engloba o maior número de cursos de graduação e grande parte das licenciaturas, dentre elas optou-se pelo curso de Pedagogia, tendo em vista ser o mais concorrido da unidade e ter o maior número de inscritos em razão do número de vagas. Quanto à metodologia, a abordagem é qualitativa, com procedimentos bibliográfico e documental, exploratória e descritiva, a qual enfatizou a análise de dados encontrados nos processos seletivos do período.
