Resumo: This article expatiates about the education and the young and adults literacy starting from the popular education and the subjective processes. It is a thinking exercise around some axes, principles and dimensions. It looks for clues that may help in the challenge of teaching young and adults to read and write, as an experience, a creation movement, in which reading and writing happen in the same time of the process of construction for a sense of living. It reaffirms education as a practice of freedom, a political act, an act of knowledge, in fact, a creative act.

Es un ejercicio de pensamiento en torno a algunos ejes, principios y dimensiones. Busca pistas que ayuden en el desafío de enseñar a jóvenes y adultos a leer y escribir, como una vivencia, un movimiento de creación, en el que la lectura y la escritura ocurran junto con un proceso de construcción de sentidos para vivir. Reafirma la educación como una práctica de la libertad, un acto político, un acto de conocimiento, por eso mismo, un acto creador. Este artigo traz algumas reflexões em torno da educação e alfabetização de jovens e adultos, a partir da educação popular e dos processos de subjetivação. É um exercício de pensamento em torno de alguns eixos, princípios e dimensões. Procura pistas que auxiliem no desafio de ensinar jovens e adultos a ler e a escrever, como uma vivência, um movimento de criação, em que a leitura e a escrita aconteçam junto com um processo de construção de sentidos para viver.
