Public higher education and emergency remote education: challenges, dilemmas and possibilities

Resumo: | The present article aims to analyze data related to the vision of two students in the discipline of Didatics – undergraduate degrees from the Brazilian Center-West – about emergency remote teaching, not in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a question of cutting out the most extensive research that has been generated with national coverage. I do not mention here, to analyze them by scope or more intense use of digital technologies in the processes of teaching and learning according to the dates of the schools, due to the requirement of social isolation. Based on what was indicated by the students, two dimensions appeared as relevant, namely: i) the challenges, dilemmas and possibilities largely corroborate the research already produced in the field of digital technologies in educational/educational processes; ii) the survey data on screen demand a broader and deeper discussion about what hybrid education is, especially at this moment in which the Ministry of Education proposes a program/project in this sense. To conclude, the paper points out issues and discussions that imply recognizing the importance of using digital technologies in educational/educational processes, regardless of what is called emergency remote teaching, considering, however, the urgent need to think/propose education projects. inclusive, democratic, fair and solidary formation. |

Es parte de una investigación más amplia cuyos datos generados tienen cobertura nacional. En el recorte aquí mencionado, el análisis tiene como alcance el uso más intenso de las tecnologías digitales en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje debido al cierre de las escuelas, por la exigencia del aislamiento social. Con base en lo señalado por los estudiantes, dos dimensiones aparecieron como relevantes, a saber: i) los desafíos, dilemas y posibilidades corroboran en gran medida las investigaciones ya producidas en el campo de las tecnologías digitales en los procesos educativos/educativos; ii) los datos de la encuesta en pantalla exigen una discusión más amplia y profunda sobre qué es la educación híbrida, más en este momento en que el Ministerio de Educación plantea un programa/proyecto en este sentido. Para concluir, el trabajo apunta cuestiones y discusiones que implican reconocer la importancia del uso de las tecnologías digitales en los procesos educativos/educativos, independientemente de lo que se denomina enseñanza a distancia de emergencia, considerando, sin embargo, la urgente necesidad de pensar/proponer proyectos de educación inclusiva, formación democrática, justa y solidaria.O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar dados relacionados à visão dos estudantes da disciplina de Didática – de licenciaturas do Centro-Oeste brasileiro – sobre o ensino remoto emergencial, no contexto da pandemia da COVID-19. Trata-se de recorte de pesquisa mais ampla cujos dados gerados têm abrangência nacional. No recorte aqui mencionado, a análise tem por escopo o uso mais intenso das tecnologias digitais nos processos de ensinar e aprender em decorrência do fechamento das escolas, devido à exigência do isolamento social. Com base no que foi indicado pelos estudantes, duas dimensões apareceram como relevantes, a saber: i) os desafios, dilemas e possibilidades corroboram em grande medida com as pesquisas já produzidas no âmbito das tecnologias digitais nos processos educativos/educacionais; ii) os dados da pesquisa em tela demandam discussão mais ampla e aprofundada sobre o que é educação híbrida, sobretudo neste momento em que se propõe, por parte do Ministério da Educação, programa/projeto nesse sentido.
