Resumo: For years the thematic leadership has been explored in a variety of ways, through studies and research. The growing business landscape, whether geographically or negotiately, has a competitive edge in organizations. In this attempt to understand leadership, humanity has come a long way. The accounting industry as well as the leadership has been facing changes for a long time, being processes, standards and even stereotypes, requiring more and more employees. In view of this need for improvement, we sought to identify within an accounting office the style of leadership, of those in front of certain work groups, also identifying their behaviors towards their leaders. This is a quantitative and qualitative research carried out with 10 (ten) leaders of the organization, being all graduated and having at least 04 (four) led. The instruments used were the Agostinho Minicucci Leadership Test - ALD and a questionnaire of 30 questions to situate the predominant characteristics within the styles. Finally, it is concluded that the predominant style of leadership is autocratic / authoritarian, which have been shown to be more focused on accomplishment and completion of tasks.

Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina2019-06-28info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.unoesc.edu.br/acsa/article/view/19754Unoesc & Ciência - ACSA; v. 10 n. 1 (2019): Unoesc & Ciência ACSA; 7-162178-34462178-5872reponame:Unoesc & Ciência.
