Centro de Ciências: utilização de um espaço não-formal de aprendizagem e seu impacto na FCT e escolas da Região

Learning can be obtained at various locations, some of these spaces denomined formal others non-formal. The Science Centers fit ti the not formal category, it has not a formalism of a normal school. The Science Center of FCT-UNESP was created in 1991, attending educational institutions of Presidente Prudente and region, with an average of 3000 people year. The role of this space is very important for many ways, because the schools use this space to pull up experimental limitations of Sciences classes, also allows training of future teachers. From the point of view of science teachers, the Science Center is a great aid to teaching science; for the students, a joke, but playful creating itself a critical sense through the phenomena of nature observed by experimenting shown in presentations. Thanks to these results, the Science Center has remained and trying to improve more and more to better serve its audience and of course, and bring science closer to the daily lives of people.
