Resumo: Based on the dialogical perspective of language, from the socioideological constitution of art, this article proposes a dialogical analysis about the discourse of the “purity of race”, as thematic content materialized in the Harry Potter (HP) narrative, expressed by the villain voice, especially by the axiological positions of Voldemort. The goal is to think about how the ideological sign transits from life to art and from art back to life. The justification turns to the relevance of thinking, about scientific racism and eugenics propagated and existing in life, mobilized as a political weapon by german nazism and as an axiological valuation of “purity”, in dialogue, attributed by fans of the saga, to bolsonarist discourse. The results confirm the premise from which one starts, that prejudiced values and intolerance with the differences in the magic series in interaction with contemporaneity, in conflict with the Potterish portal, defends human rights, as occurs, in a reflected and refracted way between art and life, in the Harry Potter books.
