Formação profissional do professor de educação física: o perfil inferido a partir das diretrizes curriculares nacionais

Resumo: The objective of this study was to investigate determinant aspects of the Physical Education teacher training, more precisely, to identify the profile of the Physical Education teacher present in the National Curricular Guidelines for Physical Education training. Among the specific objectives, it was intended to present the basic elements defined by the DCNs for the training of teachers in general scope and the specific formation in Physical Education, investigating how the processes of formation in Physical Education were evolving in front of the educational policies, in order to contribute to the scientific enrichment of the area. In view of the above, the investigation was based on the following question: what profile of teacher education can be inferred from the National Curriculum Guidelines in Physical Education? To answer this question, the methodological design of the research began with a review of the literature on the subject, carried out through articles published in recent years, followed by a theoretical basis, using sources from authors such as Nóvoa (1992; 2001), Pimenta (2001, 2004), Libane (2001), Alarcão (2001, 2005), among other authors. Following, a documentary analysis of the educational legislation was carried out: Federal Constitution (BRASIL, 1988), Law on Guidelines and Bases of National Education (BRASIL, 1996) and National Curriculum Guidelines for Physical Education Training (BRASIL, 2002). In the third part, the data of the analyzes made in three PPCs of the Physical Education course, from a federal, a community and a private college, were presented, through which it was possible to make a cross between the educational legislation and the PPCs of the analyzed courses . The research has provided the following results: the Physical Education teacher, in addition to knowing about the health area, needs to have knowledge about modern complex societies and be able to reflect on personal and professional ethics issues, as this makes the profile professional is generalist and non-specialist. It was also verified the need to find out the PPCs of Physical Education courses, since they are the ones that designate the profile of the professional to be formed and not the legislation itself.

Dentre os objetivos específicos, pretendeu-se apresentar os elementos básicos definidos pelas DCNs para a formação de professores em âmbito geral e a formação específica em Educação Física, investigando como os processos de formação em Educação Física foram evoluindo frente às políticas educacionais, a fim de contribuir para o enriquecimento científico da área. Diante do exposto, a investigação pautou-se pela seguinte questão: que perfil de formação de professores pode ser inferido das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais em Educação Física? Para responder tal questão, o delineamento metodológico da investigação iniciou com uma revisão de literatura sobre a temática, realizada por meio de artigos publicados nos últimos anos, seguido de uma fundamentação teórica, utilizando fontes advindas de autores como Nóvoa (1992; 2001), Pimenta (1997; 1999; 2001; 2004), Libâneo (2001), Alarcão (2001; 2005), entre outros autores. Na sequência, procedeu-se a uma análise documental da legislação educacional: Constituição Federal (BRASIL, 1988), Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional (BRASIL, 1996) e Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a formação em Educação Física (BRASIL, 2002). Na terceira parte, foram apresentados os dados das análises feitas em três PPCs do curso de Educação Física, oriundos de uma faculdade federal, uma comunitária e outra privada, mediante os quais foi possível fazer um cruzamento entre a legislação educacional e os PPCs dos cursos analisados. A investigação proporcionou os seguintes resultados: o professor de Educação Física, além de saber sobre a área da saúde, necessita ter conhecimentos sobre as sociedades complexas modernas e ser capaz de refletir sobre questões de ética pessoal e profissional, pois isso faz com que o perfil de profissional seja generalista e não especialista.
