The Partnership University - Health Service and its Importance in Undergraduate Student Training in Psychology

Resumo: This study intends to investigate the contributions that the partnership University/Health Service provides to undergraduate students, especially in hospitals. The research was conducted through semi-directed interviews with ten internship coordinators from ten different hospitals and twenty senior Psychology students. The survey results show that the partnership is highly valued and motivated by the perspective that the association benefits and helps both sides, which can be determined by the resonance of predominantly positive aspects in the speech of the interviewees. However, the negative aspects of the partnership were relativized denoting a certain resistance in face of questions and possible changes, not favoring a space for reflection able to lead to important advances in the establishment of new health practices in order to satisfactorily meet the real needs and demands of the population. Keywords: Health Psychology, Partnership, University, Health Services, Professional Training.El presente estudio tiene como objetivo investigar los aportes que la Sociedad entre la Universidad y el Servicio de Salud ofrece a los estudiantes en formación, en particular en los hospitales. Para ello, se realizó un levantamiento de información a través de entrevistas semidirigidas con diez coordinadores de práctica de diez hospitales diferentes y veinte estudiantes del último año de Psicología. Los resultados de la pesquisa muestran que la sociedad es altamente valorada y motivada por la perspectiva de que la sociedad favorece y beneficia a ambas partes, lo cual puede comprobarse por la resonancia de los aspectos predominantemente positivos en el discurso de los entrevistados. Sin embargo, los aspectos negativos de la asociación muestran una cierta resistencia a los cuestionamientos y eventuales cambios, no favoreciendo un espacio para la reflexión que impulsen importantes avances en el establecimiento de nuevas prácticas de salud con el fin de cumplir satisfactoriamente las necesidades y demandas reales de la población.  O presente estudo pretende investigar as contribuições que a parceria Universidade - Serviço de Saúde proporciona aos alunos em formação, em particular nos hospitais. Para isso, foi realizado um levantamento das informações por meio de entrevistas semi-dirigidas com dez coordenadores de estágio de dez diferentes hospitais e vinte alunos do último ano do curso de Psicologia. Os resultados da pesquisa revelam que a parceria firmada é altamente valorizada e motivada pela perspectiva de que a associação beneficia e favorece ambas as partes, o que pode ser constatado pela ressonância de aspectos predominantemente positivos no discurso dos entrevistados.
