Resumo: O presente artigo propõe uma abordagem sociojurídica sobre adolescentes submetidos a medidas de internação, visando a esclarecer a eficácia do artigo 112 do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA) para aqueles que cometem atos infracionais. O objetivo principal desta análise consiste em examinar o impacto dessa medida na reintegração e ressocialização de jovens em conflito com a lei. Para atingir tal propósito, foi conduzido um estudo das legislações que regeram os direitos da criança e do adolescente ao longo do tempo, culminando na criação do Estatuto atual. Especial ênfase foi dada à internação de adolescentes em estabelecimentos educacionais, considerada como a medida mais rigorosa do ECA. Além disso, foi explorado o impacto da cultura prisional no ciclo de vida desses adolescentes. Por fim, investigou-se a eficácia do objetivo da medida socioeducativa de internação do jovem infrator, ou seja, a ressocialização como componente crucial para a reintegração na sociedade.

The main objective of this analysis is to examine the impact of this measure on the reintegration and resocialization of young people in conflict with the law. To achieve this purpose, a study of the legislations that governed the rights of children and adolescents over time was conducted, culminating in the creation of the current statute. Special emphasis was given to the detention of adolescents in educational institutions, seen as the strictest measure under the statute. Additionally, the impact of the prison culture on the life cycle of these adolescents was explored.
