The purpose of this work is the study of social rights, their effects, their possible limits and restrictions, mainly arising from the moments of economic crisis. Starting with the analysis of social rights, their emergence, their international and national protection, their nature, their characteristics and their effectiveness, the limits of the immediate requirement of social rights are identified, analyzing the "reserve of the possible" and the "minimum core obligation", advocating the assertion that quality basic education would be the "minimum of existential minimums", along with a vital minimum, widely recognized. In this scenario, identifying the effectiveness of social rights and the limits of the immediate requirement of these rights, we analyze the limits of the social retrocession resulting from the economic crises.
