In this work we present an educational product for the physics teacher, to provide support during the preparation classes with low cost in the mechanical teaching experiments. The material was applied in the second quarter of the year 2015 in a class of first year of the Technical Course of Integrated Informatics at the School of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology, Campus Belo Jardim. Aiming to provide the student with a pegged practical experience physical reality experienced in daily life. The theoretical framework adopted is based on Lev Semyonovitch Vygotsky learning theory, which is based on social interaction between individuals, taking into account prior knowledge (level metal) of investigated students through the pre-test. The methodology includes lectures on the data show, practical classes through low-cost experiments performed in groups, conducting analysis of experimental data and construct graphs with the computer, discussion of experiments and preparation of reports. During the development of these activities the students could count on the cooperation of the teacher and classmates. The experience of the implementation of this work shows that it is possible to use low-cost experiments on the mechanics teaching, motivating students to confront their previous knowledge with the physical phenomena the light of theoretical concepts providing a critical learning and a better reading of the world that about.
