This dissertation deals with the use of the game as a pedagogical resource and its contributions to the teaching-learning process of astronomy. The academic-scientific relevance of this research is revealed, in turn, in the educational potential present in astronomy, through its ability to interact with other areas of knowledge, especially regarding science teaching. The present work aims to arouse interest in the study of science in first grade students of high school, especially with regard to astronomy, through the elaboration of an instrument that facilitates the assimilation of contents related to this theme. The product developed during this study consists of a Star Deck, proposed as a didactic instrument capable of contributing to the motivation, in these students, of curiosity and playfulness in contact with physics. To this end, we base ourselves on the perspective of meaningful learning, theoretically supporting our studies in Ausubel (1980) and Moreira (2010). The results of this dissertation propose, therefore, didactic-methodological ways for the production of knowledge on the subject of learning through games and for the teaching-learning process of Physics, as it offers to the teachers a didactic resource. able to assist in the elaboration of pedagogical strategies capable of arousing interest in students and acting as a link between theory and practice in the teaching of astronomy.
