Resumo: The article presents some alternatives for forwarding research projects in the Professional Master's Degree (MP) in education. It takes as a background a text published by Professor Marli André, in the early 1980s, through which she drew attention to the growing use of the qualitative approach to research and proposed Prose Analysis as an alternative for the analysis of these Dice. Our objective was to recover this discussion and demonstrate that the qualitative approach to research, as well as applied research, constitute adequate means for carrying out research projects in MP. Through bibliographic and documental review, we present the challenges of collecting and analyzing qualitative data. As an alternative, we propose the use of the Discussion Group that can be used remotely due to the covid-19 pandemic to collect data and Prose Analysis to analyze this data in professional education programs.

Toma como pano de fundo um texto publicado pela professora Marli André, no início da década de 1980, por meio do qual ela chamou a atenção para o crescimento do uso da abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa e propôs a Análise de Prosacomo alternativa para a análise desses dados. Nosso objetivo foi recuperar essa discussão e demonstrar que tanto a abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa quanto a pesquisa aplicada se constituem em meios adequados para a realização dos projetos de pesquisa nos MP. Por meio de revisão bibliográfica e documental, apresentamos os desafios da coleta e análise de dados qualitativos.
