Resumo: Initially a qualitative documentary research was carried out, in which the data were the two chemistry textbooks, from the 1st grade of high school, approved in the 2018 National Book and Didactic Material Program (PNLD) and with greater adherence by the network's teachers of the São Paulo State Department of Education. In both books it is evident the prioritization of the visual sense to verify the occurrence of chemical reactions. To fill the gap on the need for support resources for the teaching of chemical reactions to visually impaired students, the main objective was to develop proposals for experimental activities for both students and seers, enabling the use of perceptual senses, beyond sight. The experiment proposals address the specificity of teaching chemistry, dealing with the concept of chemical reactions, the phenomenon that characterizes the occurrence of transformations, and their representation.

Em ambos os livros é evidente a priorização do sentido visual para verificar a ocorrência de reações químicas. Para preencher a lacuna sobre a necessidade de recursos de apoio para o ensino de reações químicas a alunos com deficiência visual, o principal objetivo foi a elaboração de propostas de atividades experimentais tanto para esses alunos, como para videntes, possibilitando o uso dos sentidos perceptivos, além da visão.
