Resumo: In this paper, the main ideas of L.S. Vygotsky's fourth lecture, which is called "The problem of the environment in paedology," are analyzed in the context of the whole seven lecture series called "The foundations of paedology" and other works of Vigotski on the same topics. This lecture series is considered to represent Vygotsky's project of science of child development. The fourth lecture is mainly focused on specific tendencies of psychological development. It is shown that the ideas of that lecture were further developed in the work called "The problem of age" and in the lectures of concerning age crises.

Se considera esta serie como representativa del proyecto de Vygotski para una ciencia del desarrollo infantil. La cuarta conferencia enfoca principalmente las tendencias específicas del desarrollo psicológico. Se expone que las ideas de esta conferencia se desarrollaron posteriormente en el trabajo "El problema de la edad" y en lecturas concernientes a la crisis de la edad.Neste artigo, analisam-se as ideias principais da quarta conferência de Vigotski, "A questão do meio na pedologia", no contexto da série de sete conferências intitulada "Fundamentos de pedologia", e outros trabalhos do autor sobre o mesmo tema. Essa série é considerada como representativa do projeto de Vigotski para uma ciência do desenvolvimento infantil. A quarta conferência enfoca principalmente as tendências específicas do desenvolvimento psicológico. Mostra-se que as ideias dessa conferência foram posteriormente desenvolvidas no trabalho "O problema da idade" e em leituras concernentes à crise da idade.Dans cet article, les idées principaux dans la quatrième conference de Vigostki, "La question du milieu dans la pédologie", sont analysés dans le contexte de la série de sept conférences que s'appele "Les Fundaments de Pédologie", et d'autres travaux d'auteur concernant le même sujet. Cette série est considerée comme representatif du projet de Vigostki pour une science du développement infantile. La quatrième conférence focalise principalement les tendances especifiques du développement psychologique. On expose que les idées de cet conference étaient plus tard dévelopées dans l'oeuvre "Le problème de l'âge" et les lectures concernant les crises d'âge.Universidade de São Paulo.
