Adult education in the context of chemistry teaching

Resumo: In this research, a state of knowledge was conducted on Youth and Adult Education (YAE) in the context of chemistry teaching. To gather data, theses and dissertations (TDs) were mapped in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) from 2009 to 2020. Thirty-eight TDs were cataloged, mainly from the South and Central-West regions. Most TDs examined the teaching-learning process, while few studies focused on teacher education. Most of the TDs had participants from the YAE and developed chemical concepts through a theme combined with content. The content of chemical substances was the most developed among the surveyed investigations.

The content of chemical substances was the most developed among the surveyed investigations.Nesta pesquisa realizou-se um Estado do Conhecimento sobre a Educação de Jovens e Adultos no contexto do Ensino de Química. Para o levantamento de dados mapeou-se teses e dissertações (TDs) na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD), no período de 2009 a 2020. Foram catalogadas 38 TDs que pertenciam majoritariamente a região Sul e Centro-oeste. A maioria das TDs investigou o processo de ensino-aprendizagem e foram incipientes as pesquisas voltadas à formação de professores.
