Elaboration of didactic strategies in the teaching-learning of geometric figures in early childhood education

Resumo: The article refers to the elaboration, application and evaluation of an Educational Product related to digital tools and didactic strategies in the context of geometric figures in Early Childhood Education. A qualitative approach and action research assumptions were used, resorting to the researcher's narratives recorded in a field diary, as well as two teachers participating in the research. From concerns experienced during the pandemic period, activities were organized and developed with children in the classroom and outside the classroom using digital resources. We found that digital tools are important strategies and resources, as long as the learning objectives to be achieved are clear. Activities involving playfulness, associated with digital tools, are essential to expand this interaction process. In Early Childhood Education, the use of technological tools and other methodological resources with educational intentions enable interactive experiences that facilitate the internalization of knowledge. In addition, they stimulate the development of autonomy, placing the child actively in the teaching-learning process.

Utilizou-se a abordagem qualitativa e os pressupostos da pesquisa-ação recorrendo-se às narrativas da pesquisadora registradas em diário de campo, bem como de duas professoras participantes da pesquisa. A partir de inquietações vivenciadas no período de pandemia, atividades com as crianças em sala de aula e extraclasse foram organizadas e desenvolvidas, fazendo-se uso recursos digitais. Constatou-se que as estratégias didáticas associadas às ferramentas digitais são alternativas importantes, desde que se tenha claro os objetivos de aprendizagem a serem alcançados. As atividades que envolvem o lúdico, associadas às ferramentas digitais, são fundamentais para ampliar esse processo de interação. Na Educação Infantil, o uso de ferramentas tecnológicas e outros recursos metodológicos com intencionalidades educativas possibilita vivências interativas que facilitam a internalização do conhecimento.
