Resumo: | In recent years occurred the advent and a broad expansion of massive, open and online courses (MOOC). This courses have generated discussion about the MOOC offering for teacher training is not as accentuated and it requires a some evaluation. In this investigation, it is shown a study of the development of a course prototype in this format, which we call Geo-Ilhas (Geo-Islands). This course offers the possibility of a continuous training of elementary education teachers in fundamental concepts of Earth Sciences, articulating with the Interdisciplinary Island of Rationality (IIR). For the evaluation of the course, it had been used a questionnaire with five categories: content, technical and aesthetic characteristics, pedagogical approach, didactic material support and potential users. The results indicate some important characteristics for the success of a MOOC as a possibility to offer a strong interaction between the users and a community, offering better results for the short videos and recorders in informal involvements. |
