Resumo: This text is to present research on the presence of Assistive Technology (AT) and the possibilities of social inclusion in the training path of librarians. The objective is to identify the presence and reflection on AT in the curriculum of the Undergraduate Course in Library Science. The methodology adopted corresponds to exploratory research based on technical procedures of bibliographic and documentary research. The research universe is the Librarianship course at the Federal University of Maranhão, based on the analysis of a pedagogical political project and its curricular structure. TA's mark on the curricular structure and functioning of this course is evident. It is concluded that, in the scope of Librarianship, significant initiatives are already contemplated, however, the Courses need to move forward and seek coping measures for this problem.

El objetivo es identificar la presencia y la reflexión sobre la TA en el currículo del Curso de Pregrado en Bibliotecología. La metodología adoptada corresponde a una investigación exploratoria basada en procedimientos técnicos de investigación bibliográfica y documental. El universo de la investigación es el curso de Biblioteconomía de la Universidad Federal de Maranhão, a partir del análisis de un proyecto político pedagógico y de su estructura curricular. Es evidente la huella del AT en la estructura curricular y en el funcionamiento de este curso. Se concluye que, en el ámbito de la Biblioteconomía, ya se contemplan iniciativas significativas, sin embargo, los Cursos necesitan avanzar y buscar medidas de afrontamiento para este problema.Este texto consiste em apresentar uma investigação sobre a presença da Tecnologia Assistiva (TA) e as possibilidades de inclusão social no percurso formativo dos bibliotecários e bibliotecárias. O objetivo é identificar a presença e a reflexão sobre TA no currículo do curso de graduação em Biblioteconomia. A metodologia adotada corresponde à pesquisa exploratória pautada nos procedimentos técnicos da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. O universo da pesquisa é o curso de Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal do Maranhão e parte-se da análise do seu projeto político pedagógico e da estrutura curricular. É evidente a marca da TA na estrutura curricular e no funcionamento desse curso.
