Resumo: The woman, historically, is observed as a thing in the patriarchal society, violence is present in this objectification of female bodies. Given this context, the research problem that drives the discussion is: what are the particularities of the increase in violence against women during the pandemic, especially with regard to femicide? To answer this question, the objective of the article is to analyze women in society and consequently violence against women in Brazil in the face of the phenomenon of underreporting and the growth of cases of femicide in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research hypothesis is that violence against women is the result of a historical-cultural factor that, over the years, has been the agenda in social movements and legislative houses, although there are several instruments for the protection of women in the legal system, not can be concluded from the effectiveness of these measures. In addition, the isolation measures during the pandemic potentiated a privileged locus for the practice of violence. Regarding the methodology, we will use the descriptive-analytical method, as research techniques will be used documental and bibliographic. The documentary technique is based on data from the Brazilian Public Security Forum (FBSP). As for the theoretical framework, the theoretical contributions of Weber and authors who approach the subject will be used, analyzing patriarchy as an instrument of domination and repression of women, the context of the criminalization of violence against women in Brazil, and finally, the pandemic Covid-19 as a trigger for femicide.

Editora Faculdade CERS2022-12-25info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdftext/htmlhttp://revista.cers.com.br/ojs/index.php/revista/article/view/130Revista Científica Disruptiva; Bd. 4 Nr. 1 (2022): Revista Científica Disruptiva; 22-38Revista Científica Disruptiva; Vol. 4 No. 1 (2022): Revista Científica Disruptiva; 22-38Revista Científica Disruptiva; Vol. 4 Núm. 1 (2022): Revista Científica Disruptiva; 22-38Revista Científica Disruptiva; Vol. 4 No 1 (2022): Revista Científica Disruptiva; 22-38Revista Científica Disruptiva; V. 4 N. 1 (2022): Revista Científica Disruptiva; 22-38Revista Científica Disruptiva; v. 4 n. 1 (2022): Revista Científica Disruptiva; 22-382674-7804reponame:Revista Científica Disruptivainstname:Centro de Ensino Renato Saraiva (CERS)instacron:CERSporhttp://revista.cers.com.br/ojs/index.php/revista/article/view/130/132http://revista.cers.com.br/ojs/index.php/revista/article/view/130/133Copyright (c) 2022 Revista Científica Disruptivahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMarchi, BiancaJacobi Kolling, Gabrielle2023-01-10T20:56:35Zoai:ojs2.192.168.11.14:8080:article/130Revistahttp://revista.cers.com.br/ojs/index.php/revista/indexPRIhttp://revista.cers.com.br/ojs/index.php/revista/oairevista@cers.com.br2674-78042674-7804opendoar:2023-01-10T20:56:35Revista Científica Disruptiva - Centro de Ensino Renato Saraiva (CERS)false
