Education research and scientific bricolage: diligence, multireference and interdisciplinary

Resumo: This study discusses the issue of scientific bricolage in education research, raising reflections based on the experience of post-graduate students. This approach takes into account the diligence, complexity and interdisciplinarity aspects of the production of scientific knowledge on teacher training. This discussion was supported by the theoretical-methodological framework and the analysis of data originating from qualitative research. Semi-structured interviews were used as the main technique. We noticed that interviewees conceive scientific bricolage as a challenge and at the same time as an alternative that promotes researcher creativity. They understand that to become a bricoleur scientist demands time, diligence and thorough analysis.

They understand that to become a bricoleur scientist demands time, diligence and thorough analysis.  El estudio discute la temática del bricolaje científico en investigaciones en el área de educación, promoviendo reflexiones a partir de la experiencia de estudiantes de doctorado con el rigor, la complejidad y la interdisciplinaridad que ponderan ese abordaje, en la producción del conocimiento científico sobre la formación de profesores. El marco teórico-metodológico y el análisis de datos procedentes de la investigación cualitativa ofrecen elementos para el debate. Como técnica principal fue utilizada la entrevista semi-estructurada. Se percibe que las entrevistadas conciben al bricolaje científico como un desafío, al mismo tiempo que entienden que es una alternativa propulsora de la creatividad del investigador. Se reconoce también que ser un científico bricoleur exige tiempo, rigurosidad y profundidad.    Cette étude aborde la thématique du bricolage scientifique dans les recherches en éducation. En s’appuyant sur l’expérience de doctorantes il avance des réflexions concernant la formation des professeurs avec la rigueur, la complexité et l’interdisciplinarité requises dans la production de la connaissance scientifique. Le référentiel théorique et méthodologique ainsi que l’analyse des données issues de la recherche qualitative appuyent la discussion. L’entretien semi-structuré a été choisi comme le principal outil de recherche. Pour les doctorantes interrogées, le bricolage scientifique est non seulement un défi, mais une alternative capable de potentialiser la créativité du chercheur. Elles reconnaissent aussi que devenir chercheur demande du temps, de la rigueur et de la profondeur.  O estudo discute a temática bricolagem científica em pesquisas na área de educação, promovendo reflexões com suporte na experiência de doutorandas com o rigor, a complexidade e a interdisciplinaridade que ponderam essa abordagem na produção do conhecimento científico sobre formação de professores. O referencial teórico-metodológico e a análise de dados oriundos da pesquisa qualitativa forneceram suporte para a discussão. A entrevista semiestruturada foi utilizada como principal técnica. Percebeu-se que as entrevistadas concebem a bricolagem científica como um desafio, ao mesmo tempo que entendem ser essa a alternativa propulsora da criatividade do pesquisador.
