THE BENEFITS OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION OF THE DEAF

Resumo: This article relates the use of the technology in the deaf’s education and the necessity of the teacher to accompany these changes. It mentions some experiences with deaf contained in books and periodic, showing that the technology became indispensable in the world, shortening distance, agiliting services and producing a new era of students and workers informatizeted. The proposal of the present article is to suggest a reflection about the subject, without the pretension to offer no solutions or deep analysis of the presented questions. This study had as sample, five teachers that teach deaf in order to know his envelopment in the technological world and his application in the class-room. The results demonstrated that the majority of the teachers still utilize very little the technological recourses Key- words: Technology. Education. Deaf.

Deaf.Este artigo relata sobre o uso da tecnologia na educação do surdo e a necessidade do professor acompanhar essas mudanças. Cita algumas experiências com surdos contidas em livros e periódicos, mostrando que a tecnologia tornou-se indispensável no mundo globalizado, encurtando distâncias, agilizando serviços e gerando uma nova era de estudantes e trabalhadores informatizados.A proposta do presente artigo é a de sugerir uma reflexão a respeito do assunto, sem a pretensão de oferecer soluções nem análises profundas das questões apresentadas. Este estudo teve como amostra seis (05) professores que ensinam surdos para conhecer seu envolvimento no mundo tecnológico e a sua aplicação na sala de aula. Os resultados demonstraram que a maioria dos professores ainda utiliza muito pouco os recursos tecnológicos. Palavras-chave: Tecnologia. Educação.
