Resumo: Industry 4.0 is the current economic development paradigm from an industrial point of view. Therefore, Industry4.0 must be implemented with full functionality, regarding connections between intelligent systems and machines, taking into account Human Resources Management (HRM) and its principles: knowledge, skills and attitudes. This research aims to investigate how human resources management has been researched within the Industry 4.0 theme. Therefore, a brief bibliographical review on the subject was carried out in the Web of Science database in order to detect the main international and national advances in Production Engineering. Industry 4.0 was found to accompany changes at the corporate level, with the emergence of new areas – which do not tend to be changed by automation, as human competences are not yet able to be fully replaced by machines – directly linking with the competitive advantage of the market because, when it comes to correct applications, there are several advances in terms of production and worker satisfaction.

Universidade Federal do Rio Grande2021-11-18info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.furg.br/vetor/article/view/1346910.14295/vetor.v31i1.13469VETOR - Journal of Exact Sciences and Engineering; Vol. 31 No. 1 (2021); 43-49VETOR - Revista de Ciências Exatas e Engenharias; v. 31 n. 1 (2021); 43-492358-34520102-7352reponame:Vetor (Online)instname:Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG)instacron:FURGporhttps://periodicos.furg.br/vetor/article/view/13469/9107Copyright (c) 2021 VETOR - Revista de Ciências Exatas e Engenhariasinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTeixeira Bühler, FernandaBrugnara Mello, KarolynaLuis Braz Medeiros, JorgeVolcanoglo Biehl, Luciano Gonçalves de Faria Corrêa, Ricardo 2021-11-18T18:06:06Zoai:periodicos.furg.br:article/13469Revistahttps://periodicos.furg.br/vetorPUBhttps://periodicos.furg.br/vetor/oaigmplatt@furg.br2358-34520102-7352opendoar:2021-11-18T18:06:06Vetor (Online) - Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG)false
