Resumo: | Formative assessment is essential to guarantee the quality of the educational process. By seeking to identify students' difficulties, it is possible to promote continuous improvement in the learning process. In this sense, information and communication technologies (ICTs) play an important role, as they offer resources that can be used to improve the evaluation and make it more efficient and comprehensive. It is crucial, however, that assessment is not just a teacher's activity, but involves all actors in the educational process, including the students themselves. A participatory assessment allows for a more complete understanding of the educational process and can contribute to students' engagement in learning. The continuing education of teachers is another essential aspect to guarantee the effectiveness of the evaluation. Teachers need to be up to date with new educational practices and technologies in order to use them properly in student assessment. In addition, it is necessary to change the paradigm of the traditional evaluative culture, which often focuses only on memorizing content and obtaining grades. It is necessary to encourage an assessment that is more focused on the development of skills and abilities, capable of promoting more meaningful and emancipatory learning. Finally, curriculum redesign is an important measure to adjust the assessment to the needs of students and the demands of the labor market. The integration of new technologies and methodologies in the educational process can make assessment more dynamic and efficient, favoring the formation of more prepared and competent professionals. |

Specialized Dentistry Group2023-06-20info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/29610.36557/2674-8169.2023v5n3p609-622Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 No. 3 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 609-622Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 Núm. 3 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 609-622Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 5 n. 3 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 609-6222674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/296/391Copyright (c) 2023 Danilo Fernandes Ferreira, Fernando Antonio Viana, Alexandre Sérgio de Oliveira Angelin, Joice Alves Brasileiro, Marcelo Donizeti Silvahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFernandes Ferreira, DaniloAntonio Viana, FernandoSérgio de Oliveira Angelin, AlexandreAlves Brasileiro, Joice Donizeti Silva, Marcelo2023-06-20T12:06:04Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/296Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2023-06-20T12:06:04Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false |
