Resumo: | The present work proposes to analyze how modality Youth and Adult Education has been contemplated in the training of teachers of licentiate Science Courses. It is assumed that preparation for teaching in Youth and Adults Education has not been prioritized in initial training courses. The objective is to deepen studies in the area and modality and contribute to the improvement of this training. This is an empirical research that is based on bibliographic review and documentary analysis. Data were collected through the application of an online form to teachers and the appreciation of pedagogical projects of degree courses in Chemistry and Physics of a public institution in Rio de Janeiro. Discursive Textual Analysis was used to treat the subjective data of the form in a qualitative way. The need for improvement for the Youth and Adults Education in the training of science teachers was investigated. |

Se supone que en los cursos de formación inicial no se ha priorizado la preparación para la docencia en la Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos. El objetivo es profundizar estudios en el área y modalidad y contribuir al perfeccionamiento de esta formación. Se trata de una investigación empírica, estructurada a partir de la revisión bibliográfica y el análisis de documentos. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de la aplicación de un formulario en línea a los profesores y la apreciación de proyectos pedagógicos de los cursos de licenciatura en Química y Física de una institución pública en Río de Janeiro. Se utilizó el Análisis Textual Discursivo para tratar los datos subjetivos de la forma de forma cualitativa. Se investigó la necesidad de perfeccionamiento de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos en la formación de profesores de Ciencias.O presente trabalho se propõe a analisar como a modalidade Educação de Jovens e Adultos tem sido contemplada na formação de professores de cursos de licenciatura em ciências. Parte-se do pressuposto de que a preparação para o magistério na Educação de Jovens e Adultos não tem sido priorizada nos cursos de formação inicial. O objetivo é aprofundar os estudos na área e modalidade e contribuir para o aperfeiçoamento dessa formação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa empírica, estruturada com base em revisão bibliográfica e análise documental. Os dados foram coletados por meio da aplicação de formulário online a professores e da apreciação de projetos pedagógicos de cursos de licenciatura em Química e Física de uma instituição pública do Rio de Janeiro. Foi utilizada a Análise Textual Discursiva para tratar os dados subjetivos do formulário, de forma qualitativa.
