CONTINUING EDUCATION: A PROPOSAL FOR AN INVESTIGATIVE AND INTERDISCIPLINARY FOR THE TEACHING OF FLAT GEOMETRY

Resumo: Continuing education has become essential to overcome the weaknesses evidenced in the teaching process of different areas. For this, the teacher needs to continually update and seek new didactic-methodological strategies that may favor the teaching and learning of the contemporary student. The aim of this work is to analyze the mobilized teachers' knowledge through the development of an investigative activity initially proposed for the teaching of Mathematics and Portuguese Language, together with a group of teachers from an urban school in the state of Mato Grosso. To do so, we used the bridge, Brocardo and Oliveira (2006); Smole and Diniz (2012). The adopted methodology is located within the qualitative paradigm characterized as a participant research. The data were produced through participant observation, oral and written reports, audio and photos collected during the workshop. The results indicated that the use of manipulative materials, associated to investigative activities, is a potential methodological alternative for teaching and learning Mathematics, extends the possibilities of interdisciplinary work facilitating the involvement and construction of mathematical and linguistic knowledge of form playful, reflecting on the teacher training of the professionals of the school unit.

Para isso o professor necessita se atualizar continuamente e buscar novas estratégias didático-metodológicas que possam favorecer o ensino e a aprendizagem do estudante contemporâneo. Assim, pretende-se, neste trabalho, analisar os saberes docentes mobilizados, mediante o desenvolvimento de uma atividade investigativa, inicialmente proposta para o ensino de Matemática e Língua Portuguesa, junto a um grupo de docentes de uma escola urbana da rede estadual de Mato Grosso. Para tal recorremos a Ponte, Brocardo e Oliveira (2006); Smole e Diniz (2012). A metodologia adotada situa-se dentro do paradigma qualitativo caracterizado como uma pesquisa participante. Os dados foram produzidos por meio da observação participante, relato oral e escrito, áudio e fotos coletadas durante a realização da oficina.
