National Evaluation of Literacy in Mathematics (ANA): relations with the training of teachers of the PNAIC and the curriculum of the early years of Elementary School

Resumo: | This article aims to analyze the results of the National Literacy Assessment (ANA) of Mathematics and its possible relations with the curriculum of the early years and the training of literacy teachers held in the National Pact for Literacy in the Right Age (PNAIC), in the municipality of Ivaiporã, state of Paraná, Brazil. It is a descriptive study based on documents concerning the Mathematics curriculum of the National Curriculum Guidelines, the Curriculum Guidelines for Elementary Education, ANA’s Mathematics Reference Matrix, PNAIC’s Mathematics training and the results of the achieved indexes at ANA at the municipal, state and federal levels. In Sacristán (1998, 2000), we sought to understand the curriculum development processes based on the levels of curricular objectification: prescribed curriculum, presented to teachers, in action, carried out and evaluated. The results analyzed show fluctuations in the rates achieved at the municipal level, but better results compared to the state and federal levels, indicating evidence that the training in Mathematics carried out by the municipal teachers at PNAIC may have contributed greatly to the qualification of teaching practices and student learning. |

Trata-se de um estudo descritivo com base documental a partir do currículo de Matemática dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais, das Diretrizes Curriculares para o Ensino Fundamental, da Matriz de Referência de Matemática da ANA, da formação de Matemática do PNAIC e dos resultados dos índices alcançados na ANA no âmbito municipal, estadual e federal. Buscou-se, em Sacristán (1998, 2000), a compreensão dos processos de desenvolvimento curricular com base nos níveis de objetivação curricular: currículo prescrito, apresentado aos professores, em ação, realizado e avaliado.
