The objective of this paper is to discuss the processes of literacy in a bilingual teaching methodology, its advantages and disadvantages, and interference in the process of literacy in the first language. In a world where you can very easily about everything and from everywhere, the work of education and literacy, in particular, becomes increasingly necessary in order to contribute to the formation of a citizen capable of selecting the entire amount of information available, and what is important is to be transformed knowledge. It is a theoretical research oriented towards re - building theories, frameworks, explanatory conditions of reality, polemics and discussions relevant to its bilingual literacy. It is not immediate intervention in reality, but nonetheless still important, because their role is crucial in creating the conditions for intervention. It was found that, analyze the amount of stimuli in different languages in the same or different proportions can be detrimental to the acquisition of language. However, it is extremely important to work with families who are still questions about what type of school to choose for your child in this important phase of their lives. It was concluded that the insertion of a child context bilingual appropriately has the advantage of acquiring fluency in both languages very early. Literacy simultaneously also not shown detrimental to the acquisition of any of the languages considering that at this stage , the main focus is not on grammatical rules , and yes , the insertion and written language acquisition and reading
