The present study aims at demonstrating the importance of collective private autonomy as a normative source of Labor law. Historically labor legislation seeks to protect the weak worker by intervening in labor relations, but the coexistence is inevitable with other forms of normativity, especially those from social groups. In collective relations the subjects are groups of workers and employers, represented generally by employers and labor unions. The normative dimension of collective relations is wide, unlike the individual relationships and therefore supplies the shortcomings before the reality experienced by employees and employers. Thus, it examines the collective private autonomy, basic assumption for collective negotiation, and its collective instruments resulting, whose validity is recognized by law. Indeed, the proposal is to introduce the nature of the conventional clauses and effectiveness in time and space of these collective instruments, as well as bring the relationship between the collective private autonomy and state regulation, which results in the discussion of easing the Labor law and the limits for free stipulation of working conditions
