Neste âmbito, analisaremos os dados que se conhecem acerca de três tradutoras cujo trabalho chegou até nós —D. Filipa de Lencastre, Infanta D. Catarina e Leonor de Noronha, fazendo uma breve excursão pelas obras de que são autoras ou tradutoras.  This research aims to improve knowledge about the history of translation in Portugal, focusing specifically on the vernacular translation of Latin texts carried out by women at the end of the Middle Ages and the beginning of the Renaissance period. To this end, we will examine the information available on three woman translators whose work has come down to our days-Philippa of Lancaster, Infanta D.
