Active methodologies in the process of teaching and learning mathematics in the final years of elementary school: mapping of scientific productions

Resumo: The objective of this research is to present a mapping about active methodologies in the teaching and learning process of Mathematics in the final years of Elementary School. The methodology used follows the assumptions of qualitative research, specifically the mapping that is organized in the following steps: identification of existing productions, classification and organization, and finally analysis. In the search strategy, we chose the referenced sources in the scientific-academic scenario: CAPES’s journal portal and theses and dissertations catalog and the journals Bulletim of Mathematics Education (BOLEMA) and Electronic Magazine of Mathematics Education (REVEMAT). In the end, the mapping process resulted in five productions. Thus, it became evident that three works focus on active methodologies as tools for teaching concepts and the others, as facilitators of learning.

La metodología utilizada sigue los supuestos de la investigación cualitativa, concretamente el mapeo que se organiza en los siguientes pasos: identificación de las producciones existentes, clasificación y organización, y finalmente, análisis. En la estrategia de búsqueda, elegimos las fuentes referenciadas en el escenario científico-académico: portal de revistas de la CAPES, y catálogo de tesis y disertaciones y las revistas Boletín de Educación Matemáticas (BOLEMA) y Revista Electrónica de Educación Matemática (REVEMAT). Al final, el proceso de mapeo dio lugar a cinco producciones. Por lo tanto, quedó claro que tres estudios se centraron en las metodologías activas como herramientas para la enseñanza de conceptos y los otros como facilitadores del aprendizaje.O objetivo desta pesquisa é apresentar um mapeamento acerca das metodologias ativas no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de Matemática nos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental. A metodologia utilizada segue os pressupostos da pesquisa qualitativa, em específico o mapeamento que é organizado nas seguintes etapas: identificação das produções existentes, classificação e organização, e, por fim, análise. Na estratégia de busca, foram eleitas as fontes referenciadas no cenário científico-acadêmico: portal de periódicos e catálogo de teses e dissertações da CAPES, e as revistas Boletim de Educação Matemática (BOLEMA) e Revista Eletrônica de Educação Matemática (REVEMAT). Ao final, o processo de mapeamento resultou em cinco produções.
