FROM WRITING TO TRANSLATION/INTERPRETATION IN SIGN LANGUAGE: MULTIMODAL PRODUCTION IN THE LIBRAS COURSE

Resumo: | This study presents a pedagogical experience carried out in the community course on teaching Libras promoted by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul for the community in general. In order to do so, it reflects on a multimodal textual production done by the students as the final evaluation process in the course in a collaborative way. The use of the design thinking approach guided the didactic-methodological processes for multimodal production. Their resulting production shows that it is possible to promote the linguistic accessibility of a textual production with the use of translation/interpretation of Libras, through the mobilization and collaboration of professors and students with the use of technology. The multimodal textual production was configured in book format, with the written record of the Portuguese language and photographic records of Libras. In the end, it was identified as a narrative capable of transforming the linguistic experience of those involved (hearing students) with Brazilian Sign Language, being an alternative to spread Libras, intertwining it with written productions. |

Por tanto, reflexiona sobre una producción textual multimodal realizada como proceso de evaluación final en el curso de forma colaborativa. El uso del enfoque del pensamiento de diseño guió los procesos didáctico-metodológicos para la producción multimodal. La producción muestra que es posible promover la accesibilidad lingüística de una producción textual con el uso de la traducción / interpretación de Libras, a través de la movilización y colaboración de profesores y estudiantes con el uso de la tecnología. La producción textual multimodal se configuró en formato libro, con el registro escrito de la lengua portuguesa y los registros fotográficos de Libras. Al final, se identificó como una narrativa capaz de transformar la experiencia lingüística de los involucrados (estudiantes que escuchan) con la Lengua de Signos Brasileña, siendo una alternativa para difundir Libras, entrelazándola con producciones escritas.Este estudo apresenta uma experiência pedagógica realizada no curso de extensão de ensino de Libras promovido pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul para a comunidade em geral. Para tanto, refletir sobre uma produção textual multimodal realizada como processo avaliativo final no curso de forma colaborativa. O uso da abordagem design pensando guiou os processos didático-metodológicos para uma produção multimodal. A produção evidencia que é possível promover a acessibilidade linguística de uma produção textual com o uso da tradução / interpretação da Libras, mediante a mobilização e colaboração de professor e estudantes com o uso de tecnologia.A produção textual multimodal foi configurada em formato de livro, contando com o registro escrito da língua portuguesa e registros fotográficos da Libras.
