Resumo: This text aims to address the development of new information and communication technologies, contextualizing them in the sui generis panorama that is Public Administration, referring to its understanding and usefulness, positive and negative aspects arising therefrom, as well as possible strategies for optimizing its implementation. It also intends to refer to the phenomenon of digital divide, in a period of clear demand for civic involvement, trust and scrutiny of the administrative apparatus.
