What do graduate students think about the teaching and learning process in basic education and in this degree

Resumo: In this research, with a qualitative approach, the objective is to analyze what the students of the last semester of a degree course in mathematics think about the teaching and learning process in basic education and in the degree course of which they are students. Thirty students from the last semester of the mathematics degree course at a public university participated in the research. The results show that in general students are unmotivated with what happens in the course. They suggest that he can identify with a bachelor's degree and not with a degree. They claim that their teachers are not concerned with student learning. In relation to basic education, the future teachers are divided as to the offer of good teaching and affirm as a condition to offer a teaching that allows more learning, the valorization of the teacher.

En la investigación participaron treinta alumnos del último semestre de la carrera de matemáticas de una universidad pública. Los resultados muestran que, en general, los estudiantes están desmotivados con lo que sucede en el curso. Sugieren que puede identificarse con una licenciatura y no con un título. Afirman que sus profesores no se preocupan por el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. En relación a la educación básica, los futuros docentes están divididos en cuanto a la oferta de una buena enseñanza y afirman como condición para ofrecer una enseñanza que permita más aprendizajes, la valorización del docente.Nesta pesquisa, com abordagem qualitativa, o objetivo é analisar o que pensam os alunos do último semestre de um curso de licenciatura em matemática, acerca do processo de ensino e aprendizagem na educação básica e no curso de licenciatura do qual são alunos. Participaram da pesquisa 30 alunos do último semestre do curso de licenciatura em matemática de uma universidade pública. Os resultados apontam que em geral os alunos se mostram desmotivados com o que acontece no curso. Insinuam que o mesmo chega a se identificar com um bacharelado e não com uma licenciatura. Afirmam que seus professores não se preocupam com a aprendizagem dos alunos.
