Connection between theory and practice and the meaning of being a good teacher for PIBID

Resumo: | There is an important, well defined concept in the teaching and learning process, even though it is not yet fully accomplished. The concept of the good teacher aims to present a clear relationship between the theory, the practice, and the acquired experiences throughout the formation. This paper, therefore, aimed to analyze the connection established by those who participate in PIBID – a Brazilian institutional program that promotes teaching among undergraduate students – between the theory and the practice during their undergraduate course, especially in PIBID, and what it means for them to be a good teacher. To meet this purpose, two questions were analyzed in a semiannual closing activity of the subproject. The intention was to map the concepts, attitudes, and procedures of the pibidians. In this analysis most pibidians made the connection between theory and practice clear, but some ideas were out of context or not yet implemented in the cognitive field. Some pibidians do not see their practical connection with their cognitive ability, further distancing themselves from the analyzed concept of a good teacher. |

Es el concepto de buen docente, que tiene, entre muchas características, una clara relación entre su práctica y sus experiencias vividas adquiridas en su formación, que, además de brindar tal enfoque, tiene su papel estructurador, así como el que defende PIBID. Este artículo, por tanto, tuvo como objetivo analizar la relación que los participantes del PIBID son capaces de establecer entre la teoría y la práctica docente durante su experiencia en pregrado y PIBID y qué significa para ellos ser un buen docente. Para ello, se analizaron dos preguntas utilizadas en una actividad de cierre semestral del subproyecto, con el fin de mapear y analizar los conceptos, actitudes y procedimientos de los pibidianos. En este análisis, fue observado que la mayoria de los pibidianos dejaron clara la relación entre teoría y la práctica, pero algunos otros que estaban fuera de contexto o aún no implementadas en el campo cognitivo. Algunos pibidianos, aunque ya insertados en el contexto escolar, no ven claramente sus relaciones prácticas con su capacidad cognitiva, distanciándose del concepto de buen maestro analizado.No processo de ensino e de aprendizagem existe um conceito importante, ainda pouco concretizado, mas bastante estudado. É o conceito de “bom professor”, que tem dentre muitas características a de apresentar uma clara relação entre teoria, sua prática e suas experiências vividas e adquiridas em sua formação. Este artigo, portanto, visou analisar a relação que os participantes do PIBID conseguem fazer entre a teoria e prática docente durante sua experiência na licenciatura, sobretudo no PIBID, e o que significa, para eles, ser bom professor. Para tal, foram analisadas duas perguntas utilizadas em uma atividade de fechamento semestral do subprojeto, a fim de mapear e analisar os conceitos, atitudes e procedimentos dos pibidianos. Na análise, verificou-se que a maioria deixou clara a relação que fazem entre teoria e prática. Além disso, verificou-se o aparecimento de ideias descontextualizadas ou ainda não concretizadas no campo cognitivo.
