Field trip in the biological reserve of Tinguá as a proposal for the construction of a critical Environmental Education

Resumo: This work presents an excerpt from a Professional Masters research carried out through action research method in the scope of the Science discipline with students in the 7th year of a private school in Nova Iguaçu (RJ). In order to investigate how the field class contributes to a dialogue between the teaching of Science and Environmental Education in school curricula, we held a field class at the Tinguá Biological Reserve (RJ). Previous and subsequent classes were also held with the aim of verifying how Environmental Education penetrates into Science teaching from the field class. As a data collection instrument, we used the audio recording of classes before and after the field class, in addition to student records about the proposed activities. The data were treated and analyzed using Bardin's Content Analysis and thus we realized that the field class raised discussions related to Environmental Education. By deepening these discussions, bringing to the debate aspects related to historical, political and social dimensions, we observed that students established connections between scientific knowledge and these other dimensions, contributing to the construction of the critical conception of Environmental Education.

Con el fin de investigar cómo la clase de campo contribuye al diálogo entre la enseñanza de las Ciencias y la Educación Ambiental en los currículos escolares, realizamos una clase de campo en la Reserva Biológica Tinguá (RJ). También se realizaron clases anteriores y posteriores con el objetivo de verificar cómo la Educación Ambiental penetra en la enseñanza de las Ciencias desde la clase de campo. Como instrumento de recolección de datos, utilizamos la grabación de audio de las clases, además de los registros de los estudiantes sobre las actividades propuestas. Los datos fueron tratados y analizados utilizando el Análisis de Contenido de Bardin y así nos dimos cuenta de que la clase de campo generó discusiones relacionadas con la Educación Ambiental. Al profundizar estas discusiones, trayendo al debate aspectos relacionados con las dimensiones históricas, políticas y sociales, observamos que los estudiantes establecieron conexiones entre el conocimiento científico y estas otras dimensiones, contribuyendo a la construcción de la concepción crítica de la Educación Ambiental.Este trabalho apresenta um recorte de uma pesquisa de Mestrado Profissional realizada através da pesquisa-ação no âmbito da disciplina de Ciências com estudantes do 7º ano de uma escola da rede privada de Nova Iguaçu (RJ). Com o objetivo de investigar de que forma a aula de campo contribui para um diálogo entre o ensino de Ciências e a Educação Ambiental nos currículos escolares, realizamos uma aula de campo na Reserva Biológica do Tinguá (RJ). Também foram realizadas aulas anteriores e posteriores com o objetivo de verificar como a Educação Ambiental penetra no ensino de Ciências a partir da aula de campo. Como instrumento de coleta de dados utilizamos a gravação em áudio das aulas anteriores e posteriores à aula de campo, além dos registros dos estudantes sobre as atividades propostas. Os dados foram tratados e analisados por meio da Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin e assim percebemos que a aula de campo suscitou discussões relacionadas à Educação Ambiental.
